My name is Jeff Muir and this blog was started in September 2006 to get more involved with the Citrix community. Worked with the company for 20 years based at the Citrix Labs group in Macquarie Park near Sydney, Australia.

This blog is mostly about Citrix with a mixture of history and current products.

Projects during early Citrix:

  • Virtual DOS and Windows support in WinView (1993)
  • WinView NetWare integration (1993-1994)
  • TCP/IP for WinView (client and server) (1994)
  • WinFrame Internet Client (1995-1996)

Project worked on at Citrix Labs:

  • ICA Client Object (1999-2002)
  • XenApp Application Isolation Environment (AIE 2003-2005)
  • XenDesktop (PortICA 2006-2008)
  • XenClient (2009-2010)
  • Citrix Mobility Pack and Mobile Application SDK (2011-2014)
  • Linux VDA (2014-2016)

    Was just reading your blog on Ed. Thank you for your kind words. Today, 8th of December, 2015 is the 20th Anniversary of the CTXS IPO.
    Just remembering why Ed wanted to change the world and touch people like you.
    He is always in our hearts and will always be the foundation of what CITRIX is!
